Our Team Takes Part in the US History National Competition

Arlington, VA – Star Academy’s Upper School students participated in the US History National Competition held in Arlington, Virginia. Teams from across the nation gathered for this prestigious event, and our school’s delegation was the largest from Massachusetts.

The Star Academy team comprised five students, Max Gershberg, Tomer Brook, Lily Potagal, Eric Ayrumyan, and Zach Burdenko, all of whom had received the highest marks in the state competition, earning the highest marks and qualifying for this national event.

The competition covered a wide array of topics including music, military memoirs, speeches from both renowned and lesser-known politicians, and more. The organizers commended our students for their high level of preparation and in-depth knowledge.

In further news, Star Academy has been honored with the selection to host the New England competition in US History, Science, and Geography for the next academic year. This prestigious event will bring together top students from around the region, and we are thrilled to prepare for and host the competition.
