Our Teacher Mr. Gray’s Marathon Journey

HOUSTON, TX – Last weekend, our Computer Science teacher, Keenan Gray, took on an incredible challenge – running the Chevron Houston Marathon in Houston, TX! He completed the full 26.2-mile course in 3 hours, 55 minutes, and 19 seconds, braving unusually cold 32°F (0°C) temperatures alongside 8,000 other runners.

At Star Academy, we celebrate the same perseverance, discipline, and problem-solving mindset in both academics and athletics. Just like marathon running, both teaching and learning requires strategy, endurance, and a passion for pushing limits.
