Star Academy Students Shine at State Letter Writing Contest

Students from Star Academy have showcased their literary talents in the prestigious Letters About Literature competition, a statewide event that encourages young readers to express how books have influenced their lives. Under the mentorship of English teacher Jacob Sydney, three of our students achieved notable recognition. Polina Kuznetsov-Kaufman (Grade 5) and Alexandra Levinson (Grade 7) received Honorable Mentions for their thoughtful letters, while Amina Aguzarova (Grade 8) advanced to the semi-final stage.

Our students not only demonstrated their ability to engage deeply with literature but also their skill in communicating their insights effectively. Their achievements will be formally recognized at a ceremony at the Massachusetts State House on May 21st.
